Cloud Pre-Filter rejects message from a sender in the Approved Sender list in InterScan Messaging Security Virtual Appliance (IMSVA)

Summary

The Cloud Pre-Filter blocks a message and shows "Other" as the reason. This happens even when the sender of the message is included in the Approved Sender list.

The message is rejected because it triggers the VSAPI scanning exception rule, which has a higher priority than the Approved Sender list.

To make the Cloud Pre-Filter allow those messages that are corrupted and exceeding system limits, submit a case to Trend Micro Technical Support.
