Summary
You have installed TMMS for Enterprise 9.0. You would like to know how restore databases that have been backed up several times.
Details
You can use the TMMS for Enterprise migration tool to back up and restore databases. For the complete migration steps of TMMS for Enterprise, refer to the article: Migrating Mobile Security (TMMS) for Enterprise 8.0 to TMMS 9.0 Patch 1.
If you would like to back up the database multiple times, make sure to save the "Database backup file" and "Configuration backup files" after each backup. You will need two groups of corresponding files when you restore these backup files.
For example:
1st backup:
Database_bak1 + Configuration_bak1
You can get this configuration file from the migration tool\bak folder.
Database_bak1 + Configuration_bak1
You can get this configuration file from the migration tool\bak folder.
2nd backup:
Database_bak2 + Configuration_bak2
Database_bak2 + Configuration_bak2
3rd backup
Database_bak3 + Configuration_bak3
Database_bak3 + Configuration_bak3
One "Database backup file" corresponds to a unique "Configuration backup file". When you restore database_bak1, rename the configuration_bak1 file in the bak folder and copy the file back to the migration tool.
Do the same procedure to restore the 2nd and 3rd backup files.
