Reviewing file sync errors in the SafeSync for Enterprise (SSFE) client

There are scenarios that may cause file syncing to fail in the SSFE client. In such cases, you should be able to identify the cause of failure or error message to resolve the issue accordingly.

To review the error message that caused the file syncing to fail:
  1. Check the system tray icon of SSFE. If the error is logged or detected, the icon will show a yellow exclamation mark.

  2. Double-click the tray icon to show the error details similar to the one shown below.

  3. Click the file path to open the file or folder location. You can then correct the failure based on the error message. You can also contact your SafeSync administrator for assistance.
