Summary
After upgrading from lower versions of WFBS to WFBS 9.0 using Server 2003, the URL Filtering engine on the Real-time Monitor stays at x.x.1012 when it should be x.x.1016.
You also receive the "At least one Exchange Server is outdated" notification email on an hourly basis.
Details
To resolve the issue:
- Stop the Trend Micro Messaging Security Agent Master Service.
- Go to ...PCCSRV\Pccnt\Common and copy the tmufeng.dll file.
- Replace the existing tmufeng.dll tile with the copied tmufeng.dll file on the following directories:
- Messaging Security Agent > engine > TMUFE > latest
- Messaging Security Agent > engine > TMUFE > primary
- Messaging Security Agent > engine > TMUFE > secondary
- Messaging Security Agent > web > activeupdate > update_engine > tmufe.
- Start the Trend Micro Messaging Security Agent Master Service.
- Verify from the Real-Time Monitor that the URL Filtering engine shows x.x.1016.
- Perform a manual update to download and generate the patterns.
