You are unable to activate IMSVA using the Activation Code from Customer Licensing Portal. The following error message appears:

"The Activation code is not valid. Check the code and try again. If the problem persists, contact your Trend Micro support representative for further assistance".

To resolve this problem, contact our Technical Support and request for Hot Fix Build 1530B, or the latest hot fix for this product version.

Hot Fix Build 1530B enables IMSVA 8.5 to allow users to use a specific type of activation code to activate the following IMSVA components:

  • Cloud Pre-Filter
  • Trend Micro Antivirus and Content Filter
  • Spam Prevention Solution (SPS)
  • IP Filtering Service
  • Regulatory Compliance
