Deep Security Agent coreServiceShell.exe can use up to 300 MB of memory or more when used in Real-Time and Scheduled Scan.
This high memory consumption is considered normal. The reason why the memory usage tends to be high is because of the growing cache when coreServiceShell.exe is used in Real-Time Scan and/or Scheduled Scan.
There is no way to count the total number of files in scan cache as it uses an automatic flush mechanism. You may configure the scan cache by following the procedure below:
