Apache Server installation error when upgrading from Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) 7.0/8.0 to 9.0

The following error appears during the upgrade process from WFBS 7.0/8.0 to WFBS 9.0:

httpd.exe: Syntax error on line 134 of .../Program Files/Trend Micro/Security Server/PCCSRV/Apache2/Conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load .../Program Files/Trend Micro/Security Server/PCCSRV/Apache2/modules/mod_access.so into server: The specified module could not be found "mod_access"

This error may be caused by a missing file during the installation. In the example above, the missing file is mod_access.

Apply the following workaround to fix this issue:

  • If you have previously installed WFBS or other Security Server, copy the missing file from the previous WFBS version to the WFBS Security Server.
  • If there is no previous WFBS installation or other Security Server, Technical Support can provide the missing file needed.
