Summary
When you duplicate the Active Directory Structure to your OfficeScan Agent tree using Custom Agent Grouping under the Agent Grouping, it takes a long time or even days to complete.
Details
The issue occurs because the Active Directory, which is being synchronized, contains hundreds of domains. There is a Setting Aggregation File (SAF) generated for each domain, and this process consumes a long time to complete.
To resolve this issue:
- Make sure you already installed OfficeScan 11.0 Patch 1.
- Request Hot Fix 1457.1 from Trend Micro Technical Support.
Note: This hot fix will be included in the next patch or service pack for OfficeScan 11.0.
