State files contain information about your files. These are very useful for resolving sync-related issues.
To get the state files of your program, follow the steps below:

  1. Double-click My Computer or Computer on your desktop.
  2. Click Tools, and then select Folder Options.
  3. Click the View tab.
  4. Mark Show Hidden Files and Folders, and then click OK.
  5. Do any of the following that applies:
    • For Windows XP: Go to C: > Documents and Settings > (User Profile) > Local Settings > Application Data > (SafeSync Account).
    • For Windows Vista and Windows 7: Go to C: > Users > (User Profile > App Data > Local > Trend Micro > OSDP > (SafeSync Account).
  6. Copy the following files, and then attach it as an email to Trend Micro Technical Support: SafeSync for Business.
    • state.local
    • state.local.last
    • state.remote
    • state.remote.last
