Changing password in SafeSync for Business

To change your password, click the method you want to use:

  1. Open the Trend Micro SafeSync website.
  2. Type the email address and password you registered with Trend Micro SafeSync, and then click Sign In.

  3. On the next that opens, click Edit account.

    Click Edit account
    The My Account page opens.

  4. Click the Account tab.

    Click Account tab

  5. Type your current password and your new password on the fields provided.
  6. Retype your new password on the Confirm New Password field.

    Make sure that the new password and its confirmation match.

  7. Once your done, click Update Profile to submit and confirm changes.
  1. Right-click the Trend Micro SafeSync icon on the system tray (located in the bottom right corner next to the clock).
  2. Click the Status tab, and then click Edit account.

  3. Type the email address and password you registered with Trend Micro SafeSync, and then click Sign In.

  4. On the next page that opens, click the Accounttab.

  5. Type your current password and your new password on the fields provided.
  6. Retype your new password on the Confirm New Password field.

    Make sure that the new password and its confirmation match.

  7. Once your done, click Update Profile to submit and confirm changes.
  1. Open SafeSync from the Start Screen.

  2. Sign in using your Trend Micro Account (MyAccount) credentials.

  3. Click the top-right corner of the screen to view the Charms bar, then click Settings

    Click Settings

  4. Click Account.  

    Click Account

  5. Click Edit Account.

    Click Edit Account

    Editing your account will redirect you to the Trend Micro Account (MyAccount) website.

  6. Click the Account tab.
  7. Fill out the Current password, New password and Confirm new password fields, and then click Change Password.
