Learn how to change the password for your SafeSync for Business account.
To change your password, click the method you want to use:
- Open the Trend Micro SafeSync website.
- Type the email address and password you registered with Trend Micro SafeSync, and then click Sign In.
- On the next that opens, click Edit account.
The My Account page opens. - Click the Account tab.
- Type your current password and your new password on the fields provided.
- Retype your new password on the Confirm New Password field.
Make sure that the new password and its confirmation match.
- Once your done, click Update Profile to submit and confirm changes.
- Right-click the Trend Micro SafeSync icon on the system tray (located in the bottom right corner next to the clock).
- Click the Status tab, and then click Edit account.
The My Account page opens.
- Type the email address and password you registered with Trend Micro SafeSync, and then click Sign In.
- On the next page that opens, click the Accounttab.
- Type your current password and your new password on the fields provided.
- Retype your new password on the Confirm New Password field.
Make sure that the new password and its confirmation match.
- Once your done, click Update Profile to submit and confirm changes.
- Open SafeSync from the Start Screen.
- Sign in using your Trend Micro Account (MyAccount) credentials.
- Click the top-right corner of the screen to view the Charms bar, then click Settings.
- Click Account.
- Click Edit Account.
Editing your account will redirect you to the Trend Micro Account (MyAccount) website. - Click the Account tab.
- Fill out the Current password, New password and Confirm new password fields, and then click Change Password.
