You receive the error message if Trend Micro SafeSync Mobile for Android has administrative rights on your Android device. To remove the rights and uninstall your program, please follow the steps below:
  1. Tap Menu, then tap Settings on your Android phone.
  2. Tap Location and Security.
  3. Tap Device Administrators.
  4. Untick Trend Micro SafeSync, then select Deactivate.
  5. Tap OK to confirm the deactivation.
  6. Tap Back to return to the Settings menu, then tap Applications.
  7. Look for and tap Trend Micro SafeSync.
  8. Tap Uninstall, then tap OK.
You should no longer encounter the error message when you uninstall your Trend Micro SafeSync Mobile Personal Edition for Android.
