Learn what to do when you cannot view or access the shared Team Folders on your Trend Micro SafeSync online storage.
Details
You need to check some security settings to make sure the folder is viewable for other users. Follow these steps:
- Check the account status:
- Log in to the Trend Micro SafeSync online storage as an Administrator or through the main Trend Micro SafeSync account.
- Click Manage on the right pane.
- Make sure that the email account that has issues accessing the Team Folder is listed as “Active”.
- Do either of the following:
- If the email account status is “Invited”:
- Make sure to have them check the invitation email.
- Click Click here to get started to grant the account access to Trend Micro SafeSync.
- Make sure to have them check the invitation email.
- If the email account status is “Active”: Proceed to the next step.
- If the email account status is “Invited”:
- Check the Team Folder access level:
- Log in to the Trend Micro SafeSync online storage as an Administrator or through the main Trend Micro SafeSync account.
- Right-click the folder under the Team Folders that you have issues accessing, then select Edit this folder members.
A window appears showing all of the account members with their access levels. - Make sure the access level is not set to “No Access”.
- Click Save Changes.
Members receives an invitation email for the shared Team Folder. - Make sure to click Click here to get started.
