Error code 2203 shows when installing the Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) agent

The issue occurs due to Microsoft problems such as MSI service and missing permissions in temp folder.

To solve the error, do the following:

  1. Go to Start > Run.
  2. Type services.msc in the field and click OK.
  3. Right-click the Windows Installer and select Stop.
  4. Go to C:\Windows\Temp directory and delete the contents of the folder.
  5. Proceed to C:\Windows directory.
  6. Right-click the Temp folder and select Properties.
  7. In the Temp Properties dialog box, under the Security tab, click Add.
  8. Search Everyone in the field.
  9. Tick the Full permission option and select OK to allow complete access.
  10. Click Start > Run.
  11. Type services.msc in the field and click OK.
  12. Right-click the Windows Installer and select Start.

You may now reinstall the Security Agent and the error should no longer appear.
