    • Updated:
    • 13 Sep 2017
    • Product/Version:
    • ServerProtect for Linux 3.0

Details
Public

Regarding the update process, the Last Update Time of the engine or patterns will be updated after the engine or patterns are updated from the AU/TMCM server. However, if the engine or patterns are copied to replace the old engine or patterns, the Last Update Time will not be updated.

This is a known issue for build versions lower than Hot Fix Build 1363. For build versions lower than Hot Fix Build 1363, apply Hot Fix Build 1363 to fix the known issue.

If the issue persists after applying Hot Fix Build 1363:

  1. Confirm if the engine or patterns are updated from the AU/TMCM server.

If the new engine or patterns are copied to replace the old engine or patterns, some values will not update automatically. PatternDate and SpywarePatternDate can be updated by running:

    /opt/TrendMicro/SProtectLinux/SPLX.vsapiapp/splxmian -U

However, EngineLastUpdateTime, PatternLastUpdateTime, and SpywarePatternLastUpdateTime cannot be updated.

  2. Check whether the update process was successful or not and if the engine or patterns were updated to the new version according to "System Logs", as shown in the following picture:
