Unable to use current database after upgrading Mobile Security (TMMS) from version 9.0 to 9.2

An error message appears when opening the TMMS Management Console after upgrade from version 9.0 to 9.2: 

”TMMS_error”

This error occurs when upgrading the database schema from 1.4.22 to 1.5.16:

Failed to alter table [Policy_Wtp]'s column [AutoFilterEnabled] because the database upgrade only half done.

Before doing changes, please back up or take a snapshot of the server.

Follow these steps to resolve the problem:

  1. Stop the Management Server service.
  2. Open the SQL Management Server Studio.
  3. Execute the SQL, solve_db_upgrade.sql to manually complete the database upgrade.
  4. Start the Management Server service.
