Unable to add new usernames for SafeSync due to insufficient seat count

Summary

An error message stating that you have used up all the available seats for SafeSync for Business (SSFB) prompts when adding users on the management console:

You have added too many people to this service. Remove some or buy more seats.

However, the Customer Licensing Portal (CLP) shows that there are still available seats for new users.

The discrepancy on seat count information on the management console and on the CLP indicates a possible issue in the backend.

To address the issue, contact Trend Micro Technical Support with the following information:

  • Print screen of the error message
  • Valid Activation Code used for the product
  • Administrators Username for the management console (NOT the password)
  • List of usernames that are currently active SSFB users
