Backing up the Update Agent settings

  1. Save the settings of the Update Agent. This will automatically update the ofcserver.ini and ous.ini files.
  2. Back up the ofcserver.ini and ous.ini configuration files under the following locations:
    • Ous.ini = ...\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\
    • Ofcserver.ini = ...:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\Private

Restoring the Update Agent settings

  1. Install the OfficeScan server in another server.
  2. Restore/Overwrite the ofcserver.ini and ous.ini files using the backup configuration files.
  3. Configure specific agents as the Update Agent according to the update source list in the ous.ini file.
  4. Confirm that the other client can get updates from the Update Agent.
