When preparing ESXi Host with a Deep Security Filter Driver or deploying a Deep Security Virtual Appliance (DSVA) to ESXi Host, the process runs for an indefinite period of time. The scenario causes the Deep Security Manager (DSM) server0.log to display the following error message:
WARNING: ThID:309|TID:0|TNAME:Primary|UID:13|UNAME:test1|Error running command.: com.thirdbrigade.manager.core.command.AuthorizationException
The issue occurs because the user who executes the task has insufficient rights. In order to successfully perform these tasks, the user is required to have administrative rights when logging into the DSM.
For further information about administrative rights, refer to this article: Permissions required for Deep Security Virtual Appliance (DSVA) deployment and operations.
