Configure InterScan Messaging Security Virtual Appliance (IMSVA) to submit files to Deep Discovery Analyzer (DDAn)

With DDAn integrated, IMSVA can submit dedicated files to DDAn for analysis.

  1. Go to IMSVA Virtual Analyzer configuration page, and configure the DDAn server.
  2. Add a new rule. For scanning conditions, select True file type under Administration section:

    ”true

  3. For Attachment True File Type setting, select Submit files to Virtual Analyzer, and select the related file types that you want to submit for analysis.

    ”submit

  4. For the action part, set the related action (such as quarantine action). IMSVA will perform the action based on DDAn's analysis result.
  5. Save the rule.
