OfficeScan (OSCE) 11.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Critical Patch (CP) 6054 introduced two new widgets that provide the administrator an overview of Ransomware detection.

This article clarifies which detections are counted in the Ransomware Prevention Summary widget. However, the information will be subject to change along with the new detection that will be added.

    This category counts certain Web Reputation detections as ransomware-related detections. In OSCE 11.0 SP1 CP 6054, it cannot be filtered in the Web Reputation Logs. This will be enhanced in the next major release.
