Deep Security Manager 9.6 SP1 Patch 1 Critical Patch 1

Download DSM 9.6 SP1 Patch 1 Critical Patch 1 to get the following enhancements:

  • This critical patch adds these two (2) new widgets to track ransomware events caught by Deep Security.
    • Ransomware Status - This shows the total number of events caught within the selected time frame.
    • Ransomware Event History - This indicates the number of events caught by module.

To add these widgets, click the Add/Remove Widgets button and scroll to Ransomware.

  • You can now opt to disable system clean for Real-Time Scans and change this job to a manual or scheduled scan. This is useful especially when Deep Security Agent affects the system performance due to system clean job performed by AMSP.
  • By default, DSM 9.6 or later uses Combined Mode if you configured an agentless solution and would like to use both Anti-Malware and Firewall/Intrusion Prevention. In this scenario, the Agent-Based Anti-Malware Protection never works. This critical patch is now able to provide Agent-Based Anti-Malware protection in Combined Mode.
