Summary

You use OfficeScan (OSCE) 11.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and the Export Information Tool (ExportInfo.exe) to export scan logs via the command line. You can manually export the security and client information logs, but the ExportInfo.exe tool helps automate the process when included in a script.

When running ExportInfo.exe, the system displays the following error:

The program can’t start because TimeString.dll is missing from your computer.

Details
Public

The error appears when an incorrect version of the exportinfo.exe tool is used with OSCE 11.0. Download and install the Export Information Tool for OSCE 11.0 SP1 on the OSCE server.

OSCE 11.0 SP1 or later is required to use the exportinfo.exe tool.

To use the Export Information Tool:

  1. Open a Command Prompt on the OSCE server.
  2. Change the working directory to …\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\Web\Service.
  3. Enter the following command:

    ExportInfo.exe {data to export} {CSV file name}

Replace "{data to export}" with any of the following:

    OptionPurpose
    -cExport client information[x]
-v [x]Export virus/malware logs generated within the last x days
-vq [x]Quick export of virus log generated within the last x days without sorting

    -wrsExport WRS approved URL list
    -dacExport client DAC settings
-dlplog [x]Export DLP logs generated within the last x days

    ExportInfo.exe -dac dacsettings.csv
