When you are using Deep Security Manager (DSM) multi-nodes, NSX keeps on reporting that the Trend Micro Deep Security Service failed the deployment.
In a DSM multi-node environment, the DSM should automatically change the OVF deployment URL to NSX, but it does not take effect. The failure to change the deployment URL causes the issue.
As a workaround, manually configure the OVF to standalone web server.
- On the Deep Security Manager console, go to Computers > vCenter.
- Click the NSX Configuration tab.
- Under the General section, configure the URL to Virtual Appliance OVF and save the changes.
-
The URL is like https://Your DSM FQDN or IP:4119/appliance/NSX/dsva.ovf
NSX will automatically fix the said issue without the need to change or re-deploy any DSVA.
