This article shows you how to renew the SSL Certificate of the TMMS Web Console.

To renew the SSL certificate, do the following:

  1. Go to ..\Trend Micro\Communication Server.
  2. Run the CertConfigTool.exe.
  3. Select Import existing pfx.
  4. Browser for the existing certificate.
  5. Enter the password.
  6. Leave the CA Certificate blank.
  7. Click Next > Finish.
  8. Restart the Mobile Security Server service.
  9. Using Internet Explorer, login to the TMMS Web Console.
  10. Check if the SSL Certificate expiry date has been updated. Do the following:
    1. Click the lock icon found in the address bar.
    2. Click View certificates.
    3. Look for the "Valid from" field to see the expiry date.
