Summary

After upgrading from OSCE 10.x clients to OSCE 11.0 or XG, clients/agents using Smart Scan are unable to communicate with SPS 2.x servers.

Details

Customers upgrading from older versions of OSCE need to upgrade their standalone SPS servers in order to ensure compatibility with the OSCE servers and client machines.

SPS 3.x is backward-compatible with OSCE 10.6.

OSCE 11.0 and XG use a newer iCRC module which is only compatible with SPS 3.0 and later.

* The Predictive Machine Learning feature in OfficeScan XG only works with SPS 3.1.

With this in mind, upgrade the SPS servers before upgrading the OSCE server and client machines.
