You want to know if SPLX can display meaningful code when it runs a command line scan.
Unforunately, SPLX doesn't have Scan Result visible when you're directly using Command to conduct a manual scan.
The result will be directly recorded in the Scan Result log and by using UI, the result can be visible. Therefore, your script cannot get results, but one suggestion is to check the scan result </var/log/TrendMicro/SProtectLinux/Scan.YYYYMMDD.00x> if the content is applicable.
If any virus or spyware has been detected by the manual scan, the information of the virus will be recorded in the virus log:
- /var/log/TrendMicro/SProtectLinux/Virus.yyyymmdd.000x (included the detailed information of each virus)
- /var/log/TrendMicro/SProtectLinux/Virus.cnt
The information of the spyware will be recorded in spyware logs:
- /var/log/TrendMicro/SProtectLinux/Spyware.yyyymmdd.00x (included the detailed information of each spyware)
- /var/log/TrendMicro/SProtectLinux/Spyware.cnt
The virus/spyware information can also be checked from the SPLX console. The Summary page shows how many virus/spyware have been detected. Once there are virus/spyware detected by a manual scan, the number of virus/spyware will increase on the console as well.
