To collect Disk Scratch Space :

  1. Download and extract GetScratchSpace.zip.
  2. Open the Command Prompt as Administrator.
  3. Change the directory to the location where the zip is extracted.
  4. Type the following command:

    GetScratchSpace.exe 1

     
    Where 1 is based on the Disk ID of hardisk (see below instructions to obtain the disk ID).

  5. Wait for the task to complete. It will take few minutes.

To obtain the Disk ID:

  1. Go to Start > Run. Type compmgmt.msc then click OK.
  2. Go to Computer Management > Storage > Disk Management.

  3. Check the disk number.

After completing the steps, BIN files will be created in the same directory where GetScratchSpace.exe is located. Submit the following to Trend Micro Technical Support:

  • disk4096.bin
  • scratchdecrypt.bin
  • scratchencrypt.bin
  • strage2.bin
