Starting March 4, 2017, TLS 1.0 encryption protocol will be disabled in Trend Micro’s Business Support Portal. Connections to and from the portal will use TLS 1.1 or 1.2 from that period.
After the said date, you may not be able to access the Business Support Portal (including its pages, articles, and case submission forms) if you are using a browser with TLS 1.0.
To find out if you are affected, open the TLS 1.0 disabled test site.
If you are able to view the site without encountering an error, you will receive the response below. It means your browser is not affected and no further action is required.
If you experience an error when opening the link, enable TLS 1.1 or 1.2 in your browser. Disabling TLS 1.0 in your browser is recommended but not required.
If your browser does not support the newer TLS 1.1 or 1.2 versions, replace or upgrade the browser with a more recent or supported version.
