"Invalid account. Type an Account and try again" error message appears when trying to sync the Mobile Security (TMMS) for Enterprise

Summary

The following error message appears when attempting to sync TMMS for Enterprise:

Invalid Account. Type an Account and try again.

This error appears even if the correct account is used. When the universal_mdm.log is checked, the following error can be seen:

HttpConnection::sendRequest -> failed to receive response:12044

As a workaround for this problem, do the following:

  1. Open the AirWatch IIS management Console.
  2. Go to SSL Settings > Client certificates.SSL Settings
  3. Select Ignore.

Once the setting has been changed, the error will no longer appear.

If your organization requires that this setting is set to Accept, contact Trend Micro Technical Support.
