  1. Download and extract SMEX Management Pack.
  2. Import the Management Pack (Trend.Micro.ScanMail.for.Microsoft.Exchange.xml) into the SCOM server.
    1. Launch the SCOM Server. Click Start.
    2. In the Operations console, click Administration, right-click Management Packs, then select Import Management Packs.

    3. Click Add > Add from Disk > Add Trend.Micro.ScanMail.for.Microsoft.Exchange > Open. This will update the Import List with the Name: Trend Micro ScanMail for Microsoft Exchange with the Version Column of 7.0.0.0. Click Install.

    4. Once Management Pack importation is completed, click Close.

  3. Verify the Trend Micro ScanMail for Exchange Management Pack. Browse in the Management Packs Pane located under Administration > Management Packs.

To allow System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) to retrieve the Windows event log, select "Write to Windows event log..." in each individual alert/event setting by going to the ScanMail console under Alerts > Select an Event.

Exchange events do not integrate with System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
