"The connection is forbidden by log server..." error shows when attempting to configure the log source/server in InterScan Web Security Virtual Appliance (IWSVA) 6.5 Service Pack 2 (SP2)

Summary

When attempting to configure log server/source (Administration > Central Log/Reporting > Connect using HTTPS) in IWSVA 6.5 SP2, you receive the following error message:

The connection is forbidden by log server. Make sure the account has the right privilege.

This error is fixed by IWSVA 6.5 SP2 Patch 2 (build 1765)  that also resolves a user privilege validation error to ensure that users can configure the Central Log from the web console.
