To reset the password:

  1. Log on to the Linux Operating System via command line (terminal).
  2. Execute the following command:

    cd /opt/TrendMicro/SProtectLinux/SPLX.vsapiapp/splxmain –j

  3. Type the new password. If prompted to restart the SPLX service, type "y".
