"Unable to download agent package. Plug-in manager is unable to connect..." error message appears in Endpoint Sensor (TMES) Deployment Tool (PLS)

Summary

When downloading agent installer package and OSCE server is not in EN language version, the TMES Deployment Tool (PLS) pops up an error message:

"Unable to download agent package. Plug-in manager is unable to connect to the Trend Micro Endpoint Sensor Server. Check your network connection and try again."

  1. In the TMES server, navigate to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Trend Micro Endpoint Sensor\Download\Agent\ and open the server.txt file.

  2. According to your OSCE language version, find and modify the keyword from the Original value to the New value:

    jajpn
    zh_cnchs
    krkor
    dedeu
    frfra
    esesp
    poptg
    itita
    rurus
  3. If you are using OSCE JA language version, modify 'ja' to 'jpn'.

  4. Save the changes.
  5. Go to the TMES Deployment Tool console and download the agent installer package again.
