Two-factor authentication provides an added layer of security to your Trend Micro Account and prevents unauthorized access to your Trend Micro SaaS product consoles, even if your password is stolen. After enabling Two-Factor Authentication, you need to provide the following authentication credentials each time you sign into your Trend Micro SaaS product consoles:
- Your Trend Micro Account and password
- A verification code generated by the Google Authenticator app

To configure Two-Factor Authentication:
- Log in to your LMP or CLP Account.

- For LMP, go to Administration > Account Information.
- For CLP, click your log-in ID > My Account.

Click Configure settings next to Two-Factor Authentication.
The Two-Factor Authentication Configuration page appears.

Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
The Enable Two-Factor Authentication page appears.

Click Set up Now.

Verify your Email Address then click Send Confirmation Email.

Get the confirmation code from the email notification you received.

Enter the confirmation code then click Continue.

Follow the instructions on the Two-Factor Authentication Setup page:

Download and Install Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.

Open the Google Authenticator app and Scan the QR code.

To view the QR code to be scanned, click Show QR code in step 2 on the Two-Factor Authentication Setup page.

Open the Google Authenticator app, point your phone camera at the QR Code then click Scan a barcode.
After scanning the QR code, a 6-digit code will be generated.

To verify that your account is properly configured, enter the 6-digit code in step 3 on the Two-Factor Authentication Setup page.

Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.

On your next log in, you will be presented with the Two-Factor Authentication.
