We have received a report that customers who have upgraded their Windows 10 to Fall Creators Update and applied MS update October 17, 2017—KB4043961 (OS Build 16299.19) may experience the Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) on endpoints with Worry-Free Business Security Services (WFBS-SVC) installed.

WFBS-SVC currently does not support Windows 10 Fall Creators Update but we have identified this issue to be caused by a conflict between the said MS update and our Eyes driver tmcomm.sys.

As a workaround, our development team has created a tmcomm patch that will replace the tmcomm.sys driver when applied manually to specifically address the BSoD. (Download is available here.)

This patch is scheduled to be deployed globally on October 21st to WFBS-SVC Security Agents so no need to apply tmcomm patch manually after this date.

Please take note that the official hot fix that will fully support Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is still scheduled to be deployed as early as November 18th but not later than mid-December. As such, we encourage customers not to upgrade to Windows 10 Fall Creators Update yet prior to our official hot fix release to avoid compatibility issues.
