Since OSCE XG Patch 1 Hot Fix Build 1721, iDLP supports AU downloading of the latest DLP pattern, and the new Chrome support uses it.

To use AU download:

  1. Ensure that OSCE XG Patch 1 Hot Fix Build 1721 has been applied.
  2. Make sure that the OfficeScan server's Scheduled Update has been enabled. Then, DLP Endpoint Pattern can be updated by Scheduled Update.

  3. Once the DLP Endpoint pattern has been deployed to the OfficeScan agent, users can have DLP protection for new Chrome versions.

All Chrome processes must be restarted for the new pattern to take effect.
  4. Check the System32\dgagent\Hook_Config.xml file. It shows which Chrome versions are supported by iDLP.
