Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) occurs when Microsoft Surface Pro exits sleep mode

Summary

There are several reports regarding BSoD (Blue Screen of Death) occurring on Microsoft Surface Pro and OfficeScan. When users wake up Microsoft Surface Pro from sleep mode, it will result in BSoD.

In Windows Events it will have the following message logged:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000014f...

We suggest that the value of PowerMonitorTime be lower than 30 (seconds) since during this period, AEGIS will not receive Windows events and AEGIS related functions, such as Behavior Monitoring, will not work.

Microsoft Surface computers where the OfficeScan agent is installed may stop unexpectedly and experience Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) when the Behavior Monitoring feature is enabled.
