Some customers are unable to update the TMCM/Apex Central server directly from the internet because of some restrictions.
To update an airgapped or internal TMCM/Apex Central, follow the steps below:
- Run update on internet-facing TMCM/Apex Central.
- Copy the Activeupdate folder from ..\Trend Micro\Control Manager\WebUI\Download to the local drive of the internal or airgapped TMCM/Apex Central (e.g. c:\Activeupdate).
- Configure Airgapped TMCM/Apex Central to download from “c:\activeupdate”.
After specifying the download source for the internal or airgapped TMCM/Apex Central, the update will work.
