Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security 10.0 Patch 1483 is now available in the Trend Micro Download Center.
This critical patch includes the following:
- Issue: A notification about Smart Protection Services is sent out each time the Security Server restarts.
Solution: This patch adjusts the timing of the service status check to prevent false alarms.
- Issue: The Microsoft Windows(TM) Defender Security Center detects a duplicate Security Agent.
Solution: This patch resolves this issue by ensuring that the Security Agent registers only one product ID to the Windows Defender Security Center.
- Issue: An issue prevents users from saving changes to the Outdated Security Server Components notification messages.
Solution: This patch resolves the issue by ensuring that changes to the Outdated Security Server Components notification messages are saved in the correct field in the configuration file.
- Issue: Users are redirected to the US version of the Threat Encyclopedia page after clicking on the respective link on the Worry-Free Business Security web console messages are saved in the correct field in the configuration file.
Solution: This patch corrects the URL for the link to ensure that it redirects to the Japanese version of the Threat Encyclopedia page for Japanese users.
AutoUpdate Feature Note
For Worry-Free Business Security 10.0 Auto-Update feature users, the patch will become available as early as one week after it is released in Trend Micro Download Center.
Trend Micro recommends that you install this Patch only on computers protected by Worry-Free Business Security 10.0.
Patch releases are cumulative. There is no need to install the previous patches.
