The Apex One Vulnerability Protection Service cannot get the certificate of the Apex One console from the Windows Keystore. This is because the private key of the certificate in the store is not exportable. This usually happens when you import your own certificate and don't make its private key "exportable".

Import the certificate and sure it’s exportable during the import:

  1. Open MMC and go to Local Computer > Personal > Certificates.
  2. Do an import.

    Import

  3. Follow the process.

When it asks you about private key protection, select "Mark this key as exportable..."

    Import
