QQ.exe software is getting blocked after upgrading to Apex One

When the security agent is loaded and you try to access QQ.exe software, the error below appears:

To resolve the issue:

  1. On the Apex One web console, go to Agents > Agent Management.
  2. Search for the hostnames of the affected machine.
  3. Right-click the machine and select Settings.
  4. Click Trusted Program List.
  5. Add the following executables one by one:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Tencent\QQProtect\Bin\QQ.exe
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Tencent\QQProtect\Bin\QQProtect.exe
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Tencent\QQ\Bin\QQScLauncher.exe
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Tencent\QQProtect\Bin\QQ.exe
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Tencent\QQProtect\Bin\QQProtect.exe
    C:\Program Files\Tencent\QQ\Bin\QQScLauncher.exe

  6. Click Save.
  7. Manually update the security agent on the affected machine.
  8. Reboot the machine.
  9. Verify that the QQ.exe is now working properly.
