To install Apex One client/agent using TMVS:
- Open the Apex One Server's {installation directory}\PCCSRV\Admin\Utility\TMVS folder.
- Double-click TMVS.exe.
- Once the Vulnerability Scanner is launched, click Settings.
The Vulnerability Scanner's installation options are found at the bottom of the Settings page.

In order to remotely install the client software, you must have an administrator rights to the computer. To bypass this, you can provide an Install Account that the Vulnerability Scanner will use to install the client/agent.
If you want to automatically install the Apex One client/agent:
- Select the Auto-install Trend Micro Apex One Security Agent on unprotected computers checkbox.
- Type a user name and a password for a user account on the target computer that has privileges required to install the Apex One client/agent.
- Click OK.
If you want to send a log to the Apex One server reporting the status and outcome of the remote installation procedure, select the Send logs to the Apex One server checkbox.
