Views:
  1. On the Security Server, go to the ..\PCCSRV\Admin\Utility\ folder.
  2. Copy the entire VSEncrypt directory to any location on the client computer, except on the Security Agent directory. (e.g place the folder on the temp or anywhere)

  3. On the Security Server, go to the ..\Trend Micro\Security Server\PCCSRV\Virus folder.

  4. Copy the encrypted quarantined files, and then paste them into the following directory:
    ..\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Security Agent\Suspect\Backup
     
    If the folder is not available, create one and name it as the SUSPECT folder.
     
  5. Open a command prompt and then go to the file path where you place the copied file from step 2 ..\VSEncrypt directory.

  6. Type "vsencode -d" and press ENTER.

To prevent important files from being quarantined again, include these files in the Real-time, Manual, and Scheduled Scan Exclusion list.

  7. Select the file that you want to restore and click Restore. The file will be restored back to its original state.
