Views:
  1. Go to Software Library > Overview > Application Management > Packages. Right-click Packages then click Create package. The Create Package and Software Wizard window appears.

    1. On the left panel, click the Package tab. Set the following:

      • In the Name field, enter the package name.
      • Tick the This Package contains source files checkbox.
      • Under Source Folder, click Browse. The Set Source Folder window appears.

      • Under Source Folder Location, select Local Folder on site server then click Browse to locate the directory where you saved your FDE/FE installer. Click OK.

    2. Click Next.

  2. On the left panel, go to the Program Type tab then tick the radio button next to Standard program then click Next.

    1. On the left panel, under Program Type, click Standard Program then set the following:

      • In the Name field, specify the program name.
      • In the Command line field, click Browse and specify a command.

        Use the following command syntax:

        • For Full Disk Encryption:

          TMFDEInstall.exe username=[your user]password=[your password] host= [FQDN of TMEE server] enterprise=[domain name]

          For Example:
          TMFDEInstall.exe username=deployphit password=deploy host= phmde01.trendmicro.com enterprise=trendph

        • For File Encryption:

          TMFDEInstall.exe FAUSERNAME=[your user] FAPASSWORD=[your password] PSHOST= [FQDN of TMEE server] PSENTERPRISE=[domain name]

          For Example:
          FileEncryptionInst.exe FAUSERNAME=deployphit FAPASSWORD=deploy PSHOST=phmde01.trendmicro.com PSENTERPRISE=trendph

      • In the Run field, select Normal from the dropdown menu.
      • To run the program ASAP, set the following:

        • In the Program can run field, select Whether or not a user is logged on.
        • In the Run Mode field, select Run with administrative rights.
    2. Click Next.

    1. On the left panel, click the Requirements tab then set the following:

      • On the right side of the window, tick the radio button next to This program can run only on specified client platforms then select the following OS:

        ∙ All x86 Windows7
        ∙ All x64 Windows 7
        ∙ All x64 Windows Vista
        ∙ All x86 Windows Vista
        ∙ All x86 Windows XP
        ∙ All x64 Windows XP

    2. Click Next.

  3. On the Completion tab, review the Settings and Details then click Close.

  1. Right-click the FDE Package then select Distribute Content. The Distribute Content Wizard appears.

  2. On the left panel, click the General tab then review the selected content. Click Next.

  3. On the left panel, under the General tab, click Content Destination. On the right side of the window, click the Add dropdown menu then select Distribution Point. Click Next.

  4. On the left panel, click the Summary tab, confirm the Settings then click Next.

  5. On the Completion tab, review the settings and details then click Close.

  1. Go to Software Library > Packages. Right-click the FDE Package then select Deploy. The Deploy Software Wizard window appears.

    1. On the left panel, select the General tab and set the following:

      • In the Software field, click Browse and select the software.
      • In the Collection field, click Browse and select the collection.
    2. Click Next.

  2. On the left panel, click the Content tab. Check the specified distribution point then click Next.

    1. On the left panel, under Deployment Settings, click Scheduling and set the following:

       
      Trend Micro recommends not enabling advertisement expiration so other machines that are not available during scheduled date can run the deployment any time when they get back to office network.
      • Tick the Schedule when this deployment will become available checkbox and set the schedule.
      • Under Assignment Schedule, set it to As soon as possible.
      • In the Rerun behavior field, select Rerun if failed previous attempt from the dropdown menu.
    2. Click Next.

    1. On the left panel, under Deployment Settings, click Distribution and check the following:

      • Under the Deployment options field, make sure Run program from distribution point is selected.
      • Under the second Deployment options field, make sure Download content from distribution point and run locally is selected.
      • Leave the Allow clients to share content with other clients on the same subnet tickbox selected.
    2. Click Next.

  3. On the left panel, click the Summary tab, confirm the Settings then click Next.
