Contact Trend Micro Technical Support to request for the drivers.
  1. Copy the drivers into a folder.
  2. Create a setupconfig.ini file and place it in "%systemdrive%\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WSUS\“.
  3. Add the following content to the file:

    [SetupConfig]
    ReflectDrivers=<folder containing encryption drivers>

  4. Save the file.
  5. When the upgrade runs, set up will automatically pick up the setupconfig file.
  1. Confirm the FDE encryption drivers are located in the Drivers folder under the installation folder of Trend Micro Full Disk Encryption. The default folder is C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Full Disk Encryption\Drivers\.
  2. Create a setupconfig.ini file and place it in "%systemdrive%\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WSUS\“.
  3. Add the following content to the file:

    [SetupConfig]
    ReflectDrivers= “C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Full Disk Encryption\Drivers”

  4. Save the file.
  5. When the upgrade runs, the set up will automatically pick up the setupconfig file.
 
The setupconfig.ini is not migrated after Windows is upgraded to the new version. Confirm the content of setupconfig.ini again before triggering a future or next Windows upgrade.
 
During the upgrade process, Windows will perform two system restarts. The system restarts are part of the upgrade process. You can opt to temporarily disable preboot during these restarts to make the upgrade process more seamless.
