The Windows Restart Manager stops the AMSP service under unforeseen circumstances during the DSA upgrade. It failed to restart the AMSP service because AMSP service could not be stopped in time.

The Windows Restart Manager is involved when doing software installation or update. The VC runtime library my be causing the Restart Manager to stop the DS service, including ds_agent, ds_monitor and AMSP etc.

To resolve the issue, do either of the following:

• Use admin account to restart the AMSP service.
• Reboot system.
