IOC/YARA Validation Tool - Download Package

The IOC/YARA Validation Tools are used to troubleshoot invalid IOC files/YARA rules. Refer to the following links for more details about usage:

The Hash Generation Tool calculates the SHA-256 hash value of portable executable (PE) files on an endpoint and saves the values to a CSV file. You can manually import the generated CSV file to the Apex Central console for use as Application Control Criteria in the Security Agent policy settings. Download it here:

The Device List Tool scans an endpoint for external devices and then displays device information in a browser window. You can then use the information when configuring device settings for Data Loss Prevention and Device Control. Download it here:

Each Apex One™ agent installation needs a Globally Unique Identifier (GUID), so that the server can identify agents individually. Use the Apex One™ program called imgSetup.exe to create a different GUID for each of the clones. Download it here:

For more details, refer to the following KB article: Deploying clients using disk imaging in OfficeScan.

The VDI Pre-Scan Template Generation Tool can be used to create a golden image in a VDI environment. This tool can remove Agent GUID as well as generate a pre-scan cache in order to reduce agent scanning loading.

For more details, refer to the following article: Configuring the OfficeScan Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) client/agent.

Apex One as a Service does not support the VDI plugin in its on-premise version, but this tool is still useful in creating a golden image for a VDI environment setup.

Vulnerability Scanner (TMVS.exe) - Download Package

Use Vulnerability Scanner to detect installed antivirus solutions and to search for unprotected endpoints on the network.
