To resolve the issue in DDEI 9200 v1 and DDEI 7200 v1, upgrade the DELL IDRAC firmware to version 4.00.00.00:
-
Log on to the DDEI's iDRAC console:
- Enter https://<iDRAC_IP>
- The default username and password is root/calvin.
-
Go to Dashboard > System Information and check the firmware version, if the version is older than 4.00.00.00, refer to the following steps to upgrade the firmware.

From the DELL’s product support page: iDRAC with Lifecycle Controller, 4.00.00.00, download the DELL IDRAC firmware:
iDRAC-with-Lifecycle-Controller_Firmware_4JCPK_WN64_4.00.00.00_A00.EXE
To ensure the integrity of your download, verify the checksum value:
SHA1: C8719623D044D1B287619BD67F0703A99178A93F
From DELL’s support page, the iDRAC must be at firmware version 3.30.30.30 or newer before applying this version.
If the current iDRAC version is less than 3.30.30.30, you should first upgrade the iDRAC to version 3.30.30.30 or newer then upgrade it to version 4.00.00.00.
You can download firmware version 3.32.32.32 from DELL’s support page: iDRAC with Lifecycle Controller,3.32.32.32. The firmware package is iDRAC-with-Lifecycle-Controller_Firmware_VRYKT_WN64_3.32.32.32_A00.EXE.
Verify the checksum SHA1 2e52031a872d446caaf61006414dfc9fc65fa9d and refer to steps b to e (except when the version is different) to upgrade the iDRAC to version 3.32.32.32.
