Views:
  1. Open the "dlp.ini" file in the "\PCCSRV\Private\" folder in the ApexOne server.
  2. Under the "Configure" section, manually add the needed configuration.

    For Example:

    [Configure]                           
    MONITOR_FILE_UPLOAD_WEBSITES=web1.com,web2.com
    PARSER_MONITOR_LIST=web1.com,web2.com
  3. Save the changes and close the file.
  4. Login to the Apex One web console.
  5. Go to Agents > Agent Management.
  6. Go to Settings > DLP Settings.
  7. Click Save and Apply the Settings to Agents.

  8. Wait for 15-30 minutes to deploy all changes. Alternatively, you can click on Update Now in the agent side.
  9. On the target machine, make a backup copy of dsa.pro in C:\Windows\System32\dgagent.
  10. Open dsa.pro and confirm that the changes are present.
  1. Contact Trend Micro Technical Support to have the needed changes done. Provide the following:

    • Apex One as a Service Console URL
    • Apex One as a Service Activation Code
    • Request on changes to be done for Data Loss Prevention settings
  2. Wait for confirmation from the support engineer that the entries have been placed.
  3. Log in to the Apex One as a Service console.
  4. Go to Policies > Policy Management.
  5. Change product to Apex One Data Loss Prevention.

  6. Click any policy where the machine is a target.
  7. Click on Deploy.

  8. Wait for the policy to be deployed to the machines.
  9. On the target machine, make a backup copy of dsa.pro in C:\Windows\System32\dgagent.
  10. Open dsa.pro and confirm that the changes are present.

The following steps can deploy both dlp.ini and dlp_exception.ini

For customers who have applied DLP policy

  1. Sign in to ApexCentral and go to Policies > Policy Management.
  2. Select Apex One Data Loss Prevention in the Product drop-down list and click any of the policies which contain the client as targets.

  3. Click Deploy.

  4. Wait for the policy to be deployed to agents. (Or you can click [update now] on the target agent side.)

For customers who have applied Device Control policy

  1. Sign in to ApexCentral and go to Policies > Policy Management.
  2. Select Apex One Security Agent in the Product drop-down list and click any of the policies which contain the client as targets.

  3. Please make sure the Device Control is enabled in this policy. Click Deploy.

  4. Wait for the policy to be deployed to agents. (Or you can click [update now] on the target agent side.)
