The SNMP IP address and Community can be defined globally in Administration > Notification Settings.

By clicking Apply All, the SNMP details will be applied to each of the following locations:

• Security Risk Scan• Advanced Spam Prevention
• Attachment Blocking• Web Reputation
• Content Filtering• System Alerts
• Data Loss Prevention• Outbreak Alerts

Administrators must then enable SNMP individually in the notification tab of each of the areas above.

 
For correct resolution of SMEX notifications with SNMP, import the Management Information Base (MIB) file to the network management tools from the  SMEX installation Directory. e.g. C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Smex\trend_smex_v2.mib
